<p>Hey, I found this international study/volunteer/intern abroad program.</p>

<p>They offer two-week high school specials for anyone ages 16-19 in India, China, Argentina, Mongolia, Ghana, and many other places in various fields like medicine, journalism, law, conservation, etc.</p>

<p>Anyone ever went or heard of anyone going? Is anyone maybe planning on going?</p>

<p>Unfortunately it costs money...but it seems fairly cheap for an international study abroad program...about $2200.</p>

<p>I have heard good things about them -- but no direct experience.</p>

<p>The costs do not include the travel/transportation -- which increases the cost quite a bit.</p>

<p>They're a pretty good organization (my daughter took a gap year and is on her second placement through them, spent 3 months in Senegal and is now in Ghana) but you might want to hold on to the money until you can go for longer than 2 weeks.</p>
