Prologue Day?

Just got an invite to this with an offer of possible travel expenses included. Does anyone have experienced attending or know more details? Thank!

Also I’m confused because my son is not a URM or first gen kid, and I’m wondering why he received an invitation…from what I have read, Prologue is a special day to recruit diverse admitted students?

bump bump. No one? Captain Clueless? Is it that admitted students that got invited are not on this board?

Students are invited to Prologue for a variety of reasons (i.e. perhaps a student is interested in promoting diversity…one does not have to be a URM).

To get more specific information about the events of Prologue and travel expenses, i would call the admissions office at (610) 330-5100

I realize there are a variety of reasons for the invite. Was hoping someone who attended in prior years (and then attended Lafayette) could comment on their experience, similar to the thread on Marquis Fellowship Day. Thanks anyway!

Could be geographic diversity as well. Here’s the info direct from the Lafayette Website: “Prologue is an annual event for newly admitted students from geographically, culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds to explore the Lafayette community. See for yourself Lafayette’s inspiring approach to creating an inclusive learning environment and decide if our community is right for you.”
