So I was recently invited to prom, and neither my date nor I have gone to prom before... so I am really feeling lost on what I am supposed to be doing! haha. I think we actually have actually figured or at least talked about most of the details, except for this: the corsage/boutonniere. I just wanted to know... how does this whole corsage/boutonniere thing work? Do I (I am a girl) just go out and buy a boutonniere for my date and hope that he buys a corsage for me, or are we supposed to coordinate something so that they match? Are we supposed to buy them together?

Also, what do you usually have to bring to prom?

Thanks if you can help! lol, sorry if I sound totally stupid for not knowing this.

I sorta decided to go to prom at the last minute. So among the many problems I'm facing, a pressing one is the table situation. It seems my friends or the few people I'd actually wouldn't mind sitting with have filled up their tables. I'd hate to be a "seat-filler" and be placed with random kids I either don't know or don't particularly like...
