<p>I've heard people refusing to go to prom (go out to the city, having thier own party, staying at home and just sleeping) but they i've never heard of this^ before.</p>
<p>Missing your own graduation is kinda.. strange. Why would you want to miss it? You studied ur butt out for school -wouldn't it be nice to attend a formal end-of-school day?</p>
<p>Unless you have no friends and get tormented everyday at school and you hate it because of that..? <--- that's it, isnt it??</p>

<p>Well this post is for all you posters outt here who think HIGH SCHOOL is life and death important and that studying and going to Barnes & Noble is more important than going to prom. Newsflash- YOU HAVE NO LIFE! Prom is the pinnacle of your high school life. It is, hands down, the best part of high school. It's all about getting a date with a hot girl, having dinner and a limo ride with your best friends, dancing and having fun, then going out and partying until dawn.</p>
<p>If you don't want to go, then just don't. It's as simple as that. I mean, nobody's forcing you to go, and besides--it's not like anyone's going to miss you with that kind of attitude.</p>

<p>Dani: Come on! Pepper is from Kona! haha, omg its been so hot here lately! maui definitely isn't as cool as Oahu though. I love the city. Maui is pretty country, but I doubt we're as country as the Big Island. but ehh. its sooo humid here lately! What about over there?</p>

<p>Or Kona Gold ;). Nah, my school's just a pack of stoners...pregnant stoners, lol. It's been pretty hot during the day, but it cools down enough at night. I guess I should enjoy the heat now...a year from now I'll have experienced a good old Pennsylvania winter!</p>
<p>Buying a bunch of AP books.. hrm.. that's the best way you know how to spend seventy bucks? Sheesh. I'd rather spend it on prom!</p>

<p>I wasn't aware that people don't go to graduation. I've never heard of anyone choosing not to walk. You must have had a terrible time in high school if you are so against school traditions. I hope you don't look back on your senior year in the future and regret all the life experiences you missed out on.</p>

well the only reason i can think of, of why this person would go to b&n instead of graduation would be because he/she thinks highschool is a bunch of craap/waste of time/stupid.
if you had friends, wouldn't u rather just hang out with ur friends? or if ur friends went to graduation, wouldn't you just stay home? (this is, if you have any)</p>
