Prom DRESSES. (Pretty much only applies to girls)

so, I thought it would be fun if you posted a photo of the prom dress you are either getting or might like to get because you think it's cute!

:)
Heres this one that I'm not sure i'm getting but I really like it, it's so fairy tale esque don't you think?

I already got my prom dress.
http://www.blogcdn.com/www.stylelist.com/blog/media/2008/11/bow-empire-waist-dress,-$54.50.jpg</a>
Cheap, but pretty and simple! I don’t want a giant dress to drag around all night…

That’s gorgeous. The first post I mean.
I have looked at the 2nd one yet.

Isn’t it? I’m in love…just have to get my parents to let me order it. Floee, that dress is so cute! And perfect to dance in :)

Emp, that dress is gorgeous.

Floee, that dress is really cute.

I have yet to find a dress that I fancy.

That dress is gorgeous. I think it’d be too much for me though. I’d be expecting to be headed to the altar!

Since it’s only my junior prom, I think I want a more fun dress, like some of the stuff BCBG does. I think I want to look at Saks or the BCBG at the mall for my dress since especially if I end up going full length I’ll be in desperate need of alteration (I’m 5’1") and though I’m quite used to hemming pants, I don’t want to try altering my prom dress. Once I get there I’ll probably have so much sticker shock that I’ll run to the sale rack, and then run even farther to Macy’s.

I lurrrve this one: [BCBGMAXAZRIA - DRESS SHOP: VIEW ALL DRESSES: PLEATED BODICE GOWN](http://www.bcbg.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3323687&cp=2769162.2840697&view=all&clickid=cat_leftnav_txt&parentPage=family)

Emp, that dress is beautiful!

I kind of want this one right now, but I can’t spend a whole lot on a prom dress.

(I’m in love with the dress I got for my Valentine’s Dance, though: [50’s Black Red Strapless Rockabilly Polkadot Prom Dress](http://www.pacificplex.com/cm.html))

Millancad, that one is so elegant and classy. I love the 1930s glamor feel is has. Anything BCBG is worth looking into hah

phanatic, both dresses are adorable but I am totally in love with that one you already bought!! Thats so cool that you guys have a V day dance

I would loooooove to have a dress like the one Tara Conner wore at Miss Universe (the one designed on Project Runway):

Oh well…

also stumbled upon this dress once-but it’s from China!

Emp, I LOVE that dress! Beautiful!

I love all these dresses.
My dress feels inferior! It’s cool though, I don’t buy into the whole… Fancy-shmancy prom thing. It doesn’t quite work with my personality (I’m too bubbly to be classic)… I’d end up ripping it, too!
Everyone else has really, really gorgeous dresses though! I especially love CoffeeAddict’s one from China, and of course Emp’s!

Hmm, I’m not sure if I’m going, but still it’s always fun to look at dresses.

Either this one, http://us.st12.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/edressme_2038_63658811</a>

Or [Strapless Turquoise Asymmetrical Hem Dresses by Nika](http://www.edressme.com/3593.html) but it’s a bit out of my price range :-(

Sugar_sweet, I pretty much want the first one you posted, but in emerald green.

I’ve been trying to find it online for the longest!

Aww, I’m sorry, there was just the purple and like a copper one. Try finding the designer though, it was like…idk, it says allure. But here’s the actual site [Tiered Strapless Prom Gowns from Night Moves by Allure](All 2025 Prom Dresses – Camille La Vie)

Actually I found a site, I’m not sure if it’s hunter or eggplant. But it’s there

=3

I love you.

Wow all these dresses are so amazing…

I would totally wear this if I had the money: [Vera Wang chocolate ruched taffeta one shoulder dress at Bluefly](http://www.bluefly.com/Vera-Wang-chocolate-ruched-taffeta-one-shoulder-dress/cat20110/302322401/detail.fly)

or this to be a little less extravagant: [Vera Wang fuschia silk taffeta halter beaded belt dress at Bluefly](http://www.bluefly.com/Vera-Wang-fuschia-silk-taffeta-halter-beaded-belt-dress/cat20110/302321001/detail.fly)

Ahh…so many dream dresses lol

Ah, Vera Wang. She’s amazing all on her own. :p

Ahh, I’m worried my parents will budget $20.00 for my dress since my sister got her (really cute) prom dress at a thrift store for about $4.00! They have to understand that most girls don’t go like that. Even my sister spent something on her shoes.

You could always offer a deal - tell them that this year (given that it’s your junior year) you’ll stick to a low budget while making sure to search everywhere! So that next year you could go all out for senior prom.
