<p>I arrived an hour late, stayed for 25 minutes to eat, then left and got drunk. Pretty whatever~</p>

<p>A lot of the preppy(for lack of better word) did just that and would spend all class talking about how they were going to set it up. Someone even told me that they spent more than 500 dollars on a dress for another dance and they were going to buy another dress “because they had already wore the other one”</p>

I think it’s the OC and Gossip Girl that is giving society the idea that if you spend a load of money you will have the night of your life. My night was proof that you don’t need a to spend loads of cash to have an epic night.”</p>
<p>I didn’t bother buying a tux even though some of my friends kept pressuring me to do so and ironically noone even said anything about me not having one.</p>

<p>I dont watch either of those shows so I dont know how accurate those statements are but my sister feels the same way about having her wedding from watching reality shows about them.</p>
<p>Prom was very fun for us, we had a celebrity come in. No one too big but still a celebrity. It was a complete blast!</p>

<p>I couldn’t see myself going with a random person and having a lot of fun, although that’s what some people enjoy. But when you go with your significant other, it’s a nice experience. Romantic lighting, dancing, blah blah blah. <3</p>
<p>Our prom was fairly boring in itself, but it’s what happens surrounding it that matters :).</p>
<p>my prom was great i went with poseur so i think it’s a) a night you’ll never forget or b) a night you’ll never remember for some people, LOL!
definitely a) for me and i won a digital photoframe so i can put all the prom pictures in it and be happy when i see them or sell it on ebay but that’s too much trouble</p>
<p>play more slower songs though i thought twas a classy dance like beauty and the beast with chandeliers but it was more of a meat grinder if you know what i mean</p>

<p>I find it strange how people spend so much money on things for Prom. It’s totally not necessary.</p>
