Prom shenanigans...

Yup, that time of year, also time to hear some crazy prom stories. Not much happened for my prom this year, except for the fact that FREAKING WAS TOLERATED...no joke, people were freaking all over the dance floor, yet the administrators did little to stop it, a lot of guys were dancing without shirts on and one my friends was literally on the floor with his date, who happened to win Prom Queen. One of my girl friends (as strictly put, since I'm a guy) ran over to me when I was walking alone by the dance floor at a moment, yelled "LET'S DANCE!" and literally yanked me over to the floor, and she was freaking all over me. This happened for a while, then the song changed, so she stopped, faced me, KISSED ME, then yelled, "THANKS FOR DANCING WITH ME, I'D DANCE MORE BUT I GOT TO GO TALK TO MY BOYFRIEND NOW, SEE YA LATER!" Of course I was rather incredulous at that moment, since she appeared to be in a rather, uh, "excited" mood...found out later from another guy that she was actually drunk at the time, guess that explains the peculiar smell I recognized when..."freaking" with her. Man.

you need to relax with your "freakings"...u animal

Wow... Strykur... I am quite confused with what you mean by the word.. freaking... Do you mean grinding? Thats normal at prom... although at our prom everyone was breathalized, so we had a minimal number of wasted students (at the dance of course, after parties were a tad different)

Yeah, at our prom, the city police was patrolling the front doors, so they chose people randomly to monitor their breath.

Sounds like you had a really wild prom.

OMG! FREAKING at a high school dance!?! Society is falling apart before our very eyes!! Will the moral degradation of these scandalous youths stop at nothing to erode the very standards of decency that make this country great?? I think not! What with their simulated sex and their substance abuse and their in general disrespect of their elder's and refusal to behave properly like they did in the 60's and 70's, I am quite quite exasperated.

lololol at above.

i'll be looking forward to the utter chaos at my prom next year

ive never heard "freaking" used in that sense. its very annoying to read. i wouldnt use that word at berkeley next year.

My, what a fascinating story!

lol, i first heard freaking, when someone referred to it during this dance party. it was at this academic nerd kinda camp in 8th grade, and this crazy hispanic girl was like . . . busting out the moves, no joke. my virgin eyes . . . all the 8th grade kinda nerdy azn boys were all like "woaaah" mouth open.

Haha, i'm surprised her "boyfriend" didn't kick your ass lol

I'd say about 1/4 of everyone was drunk or had a bit to drink yet they only prevented one person from entering. And grinding is pretty much normal down here.

does freaking = grinding? if so...... get over it.

plus people at prom will be drunk, guaranteed.

*2. freaking *

dancing which simulates sex

Freaking isn't allowed at some dances anymore because it offends the chaperones.

i'd find it a little weird to see people "freaking" in really, really fancy dresses and tuxedoes. i'd want a little more class than that for at least the prom, thank you very much.

omg. OP have u ever been to a dance. this is very normal. grinding is normal. and good. calm down.

Grinding at a dance???

Oh. My. God.

Eh...depends on how far they went. If it's just grinding, it's understandable... if it's beyond...and I don't know how...then we got something.

wow some of these people need to get out into the real world. Gridding is basically what everyone does at prom and everyother high school dance. Did you think everyone was going to be ballroom dancing to 50 Cent? Just get over it. If you ever plann on going to college you will see far worse things that grinding. From your reaction i would have thought they were fu**ing on the dance floor. That might have been slightly different but hey who really cares. At my prom I think I ground on like 8 or 9 different girls if not more (some of the time i really am not to sure because it was so packed).

Man, I don't want 50 Cent playing at my prom. So fkking ghetto.

"i'd find it a little weird to see people "freaking" in really, really fancy dresses and tuxedoes. i'd want a little more class than that for at least the prom, thank you very much."

agreed.

I love getting down dirty with girls at normal parties. but in tuxes and dresses? no. Prom is a chance for people to behave like fine, well-mannered ladies and gentlemen.

You stay classy, CCers.

"Did you think everyone was going to be ballroom dancing to 50 Cent?"

what kind of DJ puts on 50 cent's music at prom? ew. prom is not a fraternity party.

The school wants to give the impression that it's hip and down to Earth. They know what's up in the world of modern music.
