do you guys play bye bye miss american pie at the end? it's always kinda sad.
They do that here . . . . always at the end, everyone like gets in this circle

bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
Them good old boys were drinkin whiskey and rye
Singin,
thisll be the day that I die.

they play ghetto stuff and country. and some slow music. but they love country. =\
yay for living in a rural town.

Untilted must never have been to any school dances or proms. I do believe that hip hop is like the norm. and we totally had Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy too.

Haha our supervisors would flip out if we had freaking/grinding. Nothing crazy happened at our prom, as far as I know...But our school is weird, at our junior prom you can't have dresses longer than your knees. You'd think it'd be the other way around...

WOW. .. . . w.tf?! why??? Most prom dresses in the stores are longer than the knee, it's not like kids are that stupid these days to trip over them . . what a retarded rule.

I've always known it has a waterway in which water is released (ie. dam) There are alot of them in LA. When the levees are dry you can drive in them and then of course, have parties.

...understand now? :) I've never been to LA, but yeah, that's what someone else said

HAH yeah grinding is common at our school dances, even at prom :P. haha at our dances, the kids all congregate to this one area. so in the middle of the blob of people are the heavy grinders, and then the moderate grinders, and the wallflowers mill around on the outskirts of the blob. its quite funny how everyone just gets assembled that way..actually, ive always wondered like..when people first come to a dance, who starts teh dancing? do they all come in together? or does somebody break the ice? :P

My friend, his date, and some friends went to a restaurant before prom. Now, they had planned to go order food according to how much money they had, and etcetc. However, since they were a party of about 20 people or so, the manager directed them to the dining hall. The deal with the dining hall was that the dining hall had a completely different menu: $150 per head! So the kids got really worried and freaked out because they obviously couldnt pay and so they called one of their dads. The dad yelled at the manager, and time was wasted..and the manager called the police because the dad was being loud and disturbing the other customers...so the kids had to leave and pickup something from McDonalds. Get this: they reached the prom 30 seconds before the doors closed.

my prom was last night..when we got there about an hour after it started, some people were dancing. once we checked our bags/shoes (can't dance in stilettos!), mostly everyone was. i agree about the different degrees of dancing getting lighter as you move away from the center--hahah what a funny observation..overall it was fun. and i like wearing a pretty dress :)
