Prom without a date

How about that?

I don’t have a date, so I opted out. I went last year though.

^ losers…

how on Earth did you get a date Solo?

Prom’s less than a month away and I have no date…

I’m still going though.

I bet you didn’t get ASKED by 4 girls last year like I did. ; )

im in 11th, but i promise i will have a date to prom. At least i have a girlfriend at this moment. Oh, to answer your question, it was my guns, 6 pack and intelligence.

see for yourself

Oh my god, you are SO cool.

I rejected two people. I don’t understand why people feel the need to actually have a date - I mean, going solo = no obligations/less hassle. =D

^ I’m not antisocial at all. XD

at least i am BUFF!!!

^^ Very true statement

^ So am I, kinda sorta

I was planning on going without a date.

But then the other day… a guy asked me, so now I’m going with a date. =/

You don’t seem very happy there AUGirl

As a person who went to Prom with and Homecoming without, its more fun with a date.

Why don’t you just go with a bunch of friends. That’s what i’m doing. this whole date thing can get too dramatic so all of my friends and I opted for going as one big group w/o dates.

^ I agree with Desi over there. Just go with a bunch of your friends. Honestly, overall I find the whole date on prom thing just a big, well, its a big pointless commotion that not everyone is entitled to follow. Everyone in my school don’t go with dates anyways, and friends tend to just go with friends. Its more fun that way ( unless you asked your significant other). As for me, prom is in two weeks and I’m still waiting for my gown!

speaking of which, why do people need a date for prom and homecoming?
where did that tradition started?

Get a date if you can. However you must be sure you’ll have a good time with your date. I’d rather go solo than go with someone I don’t want to.
