My prom is on May 12th too! People are already getting snapped up, I have to dip in pools outside of my high school :(

1.5 months would be me lol. by the time st. patty's day rolled around, half our school already had prom dates, and i go to an all girls school so we have to snap up our guys before someone else asks them!

I left flowers in my dates car, with a note saying "prom?" Then she got me a cheesecake that said "yes" in frosting on it. So cool.

Most people at our school have been looking at that one same person since freshman year...:o but most people know now who they're taking, but it's sort of informal until they ask.

aww, erhswimming, thats so cute!

Our prom is on May 18th, and I asked... well I still dont see why its such a big deal to ask someone even if you are going out with them, but I asked a couple weeks ago. You should really ask the girl at least a month before.

It's silly... my schools trying to make the prom senior only, so they're doing it gradually, and my girlfriend just missed the cut..... as in her class is the oldest class that can't go.... meh...

One month away is the general rule around my school. and our prom is April 28, I asked my date early last week.

Girls started asking me in March for an early May Prom.

The guys at my school are really competitive, so the "pickings" go fast. Sounds shallow, I know. I'm sorry.

Our prom is May 18th also....and people have started to ask this week. i was asked today! yay cant wait! its gonna be fun. :)

The seniors at my school either plan really early or really late.

Prom at my school is on May 5th, but limos were gone about a week before Spring Break. My friends decided to get a party bus instead. Haha. Umm as far as when to ask, whenever it's right. I plan on asking my date tomorrow.
