If I wanted to write about my challenging certain assertions of my English teacher on feminism/ patriarchy etc. during a discussion in class, is that too political? I'm a little confused. She was talking about how a girl cannot be girlie and sexy AND powerful and I strongly disagreed and actually found the premise offensive. Is this inappropriate?</p>
