Proof died

that sucks

?? question mark.

Yes it's too bad.

eminem's sidekick..or whatever

It's life changing news..I know

ya...a gangster died....big surprise there

RIP.
He and Eminem were the two best in D12.

do you mean your prof. as in professor died? whats this talk of rappers?

yes..my professor proof died

who said anything about rappers?

eminem is a rapper.

proof was not only a great rapper, but he was a great teacher as well... he will be missed

Proof is a rapper in the group D12. And he died. The end.

Out of 11 posts, there's only one "R.I.P." Regardless of how or why he passed away, he's gone now. He left behind a wife and five children.

If you guys don't know who he is, he's Eminem's best friend and a member of D-12.

R.I.P. DeShaun Holton AKA Proof.

Oh look, another rapper was shot. What a surprise.

Man, it's not like these people are productive or anything, who ****ing cares?

Although I don't listen to rap too much, I don't think one can dismiss this because

. Not to say that I'm crying over him passing, but I still find it disrespectful to say that about anyone...well at least most people.

And how can you argue that he wasn't productive? On what grounds? In comparison to who? Is it ok if someone who isn't "productive" to die?

DETROIT — Rapper Proof fired the first bullet in a Detroit nightclub shootout that ended his life, police said Wednesday.

The tears... just won't come... for this guy.

Rethink what you just said, please. You're probably a young adult, in college, who hasn't had much of a career yet, do you count as "productive?"

Proof was part of a group that sold 4 million albums. The money went to the record company who spent that money on other stuff. Employees then got that money and spent it on other stuff leading to a boost in the economy. I'm not saying without Proof that our economy will crumble, but selling 4 million albums is a big personal accomplishment compared to anything that most of us on this board have done.

No offense to any Rock fans out there, but what if Travis from Blink 182 died and someone said, "its not like rockers are productive or anything, who *ing cares?" What if Tim McGraw died and someone said, "its not like country singers are productive or anything, who *ing cares?"

Fact of the matter is, if you want to blatantly disrespect someone, please keep it to yourself. If you want to voice an opinion, do it with respect.

Sorry, I'll speak my opinion as long as we have freedom of speech, Prophasi. People who work at McDonald's are more productive than rappers.

Wow, neverborn is such a blatant racialist

I'm not arguing against the fact that you express your opinion (I know you were referring to Prophasi but just wanted to make it clear), I just don't agree that his death is meaningless because he wasn't "productive".

I won't cry for this guy either, but I'm still against your ideology.

Perhaps when decisions come out we'll all find better things to do with our lives rather than argue over this ****.
