<p>What kind of "proof" do you need to show what EC's you did? Do colleges take your word for it or should I be going around collecting signatures from the director of the club/team/award?</p>
<p>No one asks for signatures on your college app. it is completely based on trust. Some colleges do check though–and the consequences are severe.</p>

<p>As enderkin said, it’s based on trust. If the ECs sound a bit odd, such as everyone from X High School is ASB President, then the colleges might do a check. Try to tell the truth and squeezeasmuchasyoucanoutofit.</p>
