I have an EC which has in all practicality dictated the rules of my after-school schedule for 4 years - I've got 2500 hours underneath my belt. Would it be wise to have a letter of proof sent from a president/chairman of this organization with his contact info so that colleges have easy access and don't question it? I'm scared about how they might take the letter - also, how would you write it so it's just proof and not a rec (given that I have two teacher recs and a professor rec already)?

you could put the president's contact info on that one section of the common app where you can tell them anything you'd like

interesting... any other ideas?

I don't think you need to send in any proof. However, you can provide all the information needed in case the school wants to verify, eg. YMCA , Houston, TX.

bump (10 char.)

They don't usually check. Just write an essay about it maybe and include your superior's contact info in Additional info.
