Proof read my appeal?

I have a ucdavis appeal letter ready to go! I’m also a bit confused about how long it has to be. When I log into the Davis portal it says my statement should be at least 350 words or less, however, I called admissions and they told me it can be as long as I want.

My appeal is 850 words, as of now. I know it will be difficult to cut some information out.

The portal does offer the option to upload documents. Should I upload my appeal statement there AND fill out the 350 words or less statement?

I also have an admissions officer writing me a letter of rec. Will this affect my acceptance in a positive way?

If a UCD admission officer is writing a letter of rec, the person can definitely help you get in. If you’re uploading a document, it’s a bit redundant to fill out the statement.
