<p>My son's housing packet included a brochure for property insurance from NSSI, which claims to cover theft or damage to almost all property while away at school. Has anyone had experience (good or bad) filing a claim? I'm particularly interested if they pay for damage to a dropped cellphone, ipod, etc.</p>
<p>Don't know, d is covered under our regular homeowner's insurance.
But if you do decide to use it check the deductibles.</p>
