Proposition: Let's defeat the constant admissions site checks!

<p>So after two harsh rejections from two of my top choices, my decisions come out to:
Accepted: UCM, UCR, UCSC, UCD
Rejected: UCSD, UCSB
Waiting: UCI, UCLA, UCB

nd since I doubt that I'll get into UCLA and UCB because of my UCSD and UCSB rejection, my greatest hope is for UCI, which is coincidentally the only school without an established rejection date.</p>

<p>Anyways, I'm sure many of you are tired from constantly checking the site so I propose that instead of checking aimlessly every day, how about every time someone gets accepted, they make a new thread, and title it something like:
"3-17 Acceptance!"? </p>

<p>And if there's already a thread created for acceptances on that day, others can just post in that thread to eliminate clutter.
This way, we can know when there are status changes, and the people who do get accepted on that day and find out first can have a little bit of glory. ;)</p>

<p>AYEITSJ, I'm in the same situation as you. I've been rejected to UCSD and UCSB too. Got into UCR,UCSC,UCD.
Still waiting it out for Irvine though.
BTW: great idea, it helps all the people who are anxiously waiting. Myself being one of those people. =)</p>

<p>I feel so hopeless. I've been rejected at every UC so far (aside from R and M, which I didn't apply for)...but I got rejected from Calpoly SLO (most likely), UCSC (my SAFETY school), UCD, UCSD, and UCSB. I literally broke down crying for 2 days...and UCI is my LAST chance for a shot at any college.</p>
