Inspired by this twitter post by a Harvard Prof., I spent an inordinate amount of time diving into the “paid research” industry.
Its amazing the levels to which students and parents are going to in order to get into the top schools. Very sad, and it corrupts kids and make them cynical/jaded at a very young age.
This is the “alt” version of starting a non-profit. AOs cannot surely be so gullible.
I see on an average a thread on A2C each week on some kid complaining about how a peer cheated on ECs. And the general tone of most responses is mind your own business or don’t hate the player, hate the game. It is sickening as these are supposed to be the best and brightest of our society.
