<p>For those of you who are current students (or not), what are the pros and cons of attending UMD? It would be helpful if i knew both so i can make an informed decision.</p>

Prs: weather, academic reputation, school spirit</p>

<p>Pros: Fun, weather (Always mild in MD, the winters arent terrible, the summers are great), school spirit, athletics and watching the games, people (Usually very nice. Note the con for dormmates), activities
Cons: Campus size (10 minutes to get from dorm to class walking. He bought a bike and he said it worked out), crime (A report in the email every day), Dorm mates can be immature (party rowdy type), Pre-med TAs suck, dorms smell like trash, no ac</p>
