Hi I'm interested in Marquette and I was wondering if anybody had any info or comments about Marquette?
Anything about the school really, food, dorms, class sizes, location, athmosphere...etc
:) Any input is greatly appreciated!

What do you plan to major in?

uhh undecided/maybe pre-dental

I’m an alumnus and have a S who is a junior at Marquette. The dental program is very good. Are you in the application process or are youlooking to apply next year. There is a facebook group for prospective students (class 2016). This is the link. <a href=“Facebook - log in or sign up”>Facebook - log in or sign up; You can ask current students about programs or any general questions you might have. LMK if you have any specific doubts. I believe that if possible try visit schools you have the most interest in attending. Marquette has a shadow program that allows you to stay with a student overnight and go to class.

I’ve already applied and hope to get in!
25 act score
3.45 gpa
strong classes(honors and ap classes)
I’m debating whether to send in my 27 sct score since I just got it back
I have strong ec’s (class pres, student council too)

I wanna apply for the 7 yr accelerated dental program/honors program but idk if my stats are good enough
also I’m OOS

Since you already applied make sure you join the facebook group. You can ask just about anything there and students will answer. Being OOS is not a minus it might be a plus as they like to have a diverse incoming class to represent as many states as possible. Your admission to the pre-dental program will depend on the pool of applicants for the year so that is hard to tell. Go visit, try to do a shadow visit with a pre-dental student. Show lots of interest and by all means do not get discouraged. Good luck!

Sorry did not notice before, yes you should send your new score ASAP. Remember for the score to be official it has to be sent from ACT or your high school.

thank-you so much for all your help and advice!!! It really helps out a lot.
