Hey, I'm only a junior...but Wake looks like an interesting school. I don't know too much about it, but I like its location and that it has a respected business school. Could current students/applicants tell me a little more?

Here is a link to the business school: The Calloway School of Business and Accountancy

Kind of tough to answer your broad question, but small class sizes and rigorous coursework set Wake apart from competing universities.

Ok, thank you. Are there any other large plusses or minuses to the school? I'm on the west coast and only know some things from the website.

Profile vs. Size; star on the rise, bigtime; great sports, notably hoops (some far better teams, but this is ACC and tobacco road basketball ... unique in all the planet, imo) Lots of imitators ... none like it; big time grad programs in biz, law, medicine. Benefit of a master designed AND constructed (for the most part) campus when they moved to W-S in early 50's ... or whenever it was. Few have this benefit. Takes HUGE investment.

you don't apply to the business school until your sophomore year- after you are here. some people don't like that, but there are plenty of other great programs too. actually, you'd have to try to not get a good education at wake.

it is beautiful. visit it and see if you still like it.
