<p>I am applying to Upenn because I think it has a good engineering department as one of my colleague is doing his undergrads there. Do you think I have way too many matches and safeties or I have a good balance of all?</p>

<p>I think you’d apply to a good number of colleges.
If I had to say something, though, it’s a bit much.
But better more than less right?
If you have the time to write the essays and apps, go for it.
If not, then eliminate some.</p>
