Prospective Economist at UCB/UCSD/Upenn? :)

<p>Hi guys, Prospective economist here looking to go to UCB/UCSD/Upenn/USC/UCI or University of Washington, what are my chances? :)</p>

<p>SAT: 2150
Sat subject tests: Math1:730
Biology M: 750</p>

<p>IB predicted grades:
IB HL econ: 7
IB HL business and management: 6
IB HL Biology: 7
IB SL mathematics:6
IB SL english: 6
IB SL spanish ab initio : 6
Extended essay and TOK: 3</p>

<p>Looking at about 41/45ish
might do AP Macro, AP micro and AP Biology
Hoping for 5s for each :)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<p>Basketball team and Basketball captain
Senior school prefect (Position of authority with students)
Community service society( 200hrs ish)
Intern at UN (2 weeks)
Intern at Unilever ( 2 weeks)
Medical camps at war-torn area (2 days)
Course in applications of Genetic engineering
School plays (x2)
Various awards for interschool track and field events
Organized a few fundraisers
MUN
Hope society
Tennis team
Economics subject prize for 4 straight years
Biology prize
Business management prize 2 years
Certificate of progress( given to the student who progresses the most from one year to the next)</p>

<p>You have a unique set of stats!! nice ECs that are varied and show your interests! I am thinking that UCB and UCSD are definitely low reaches/high matches! Upenn is also a low reach! chance me back?</p>

<p>Im going to have to say reaches for u penn and washington. Ur definitely challenging urself with IB classes but test scores seem a bit on the low side. Good extracurriculars though</p>

okay so your SAT is a bit low for ivys- try to get 2250+ if you can. also is there a particular reason you took math 1 not math 2? i would take math 2, especially for upenn, and try to get 750+ on that&lt;/p>

<p>UCB- low reach, might have an advantage if you’re out of state, since they want more people to pay full tuition
