Prospective Neurobiology major

I was wondering if anyone knew which schools have good undergraduate neurobiology/neuroscience/molecular biolgy programs. I live in California and would rather stay in state, but any suggested schools would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

-Stanford
-UCLA
-UCSD

In addition to Crayon's list:

Berkeley
USC
UCDavis
UCI

Actually California schools are quite strong in this major that you don't need to look outside. But if you do, JHU, MIT, UT-Austin, Columbia, etc.

Berkeley's is MCB + focus on neurobio.

UWash has a neurobiology program too.

Also add Duke.

I'm not sure about NYU - can someone confirm this? I know the author of the acclaimed "Synaptic Self" is a professor/researcher at NYU - Joseph LeDoux.

Bates has a great neuroscience program, but Maine obviously isn't California, so that's probably not a helpful answer. If you change your mind about staying in-state, however, there you go.
