maybe hes talkin about NUS…becoz, for NTU,my friend said aid was a very important factor…but,I have no idea whats right…will have to keep guessing

ohh! i dunno…for ntu, i remember applying for the scholarships! is financial aid included with the scholarships?

Economics baby~~~
I applied for financial aid but i think there is no separate application for scholarships as internationals are automatically considered.
Have any of you applied or got accepted to any US colleges?

hey…i haven’t applied anywhere in the US…but many of my friends who applied got accepted into Boston Uni, Berkeley, UCLA…

@smartchap: hey dude ,financial aid is processed separately by a team of people while admission is processed by diff team of people… so u don need to be afraid whether it will decline ur chances of getting in and anyways the period for applying for financial aid is over by april 1 for prospective students !!!

Hmm…you’re talking about NUS or NTU?

No problem for me right now, anyways…I’m a 2014er’

@Vaishu12- Do you know Rajul Gupta by any chance?

Nope…! Who is he?

Oh! Nevermind. He was a friend of mine who qualified for SIA-NOL scholarship from India and went to Singapore for 11th and 12th. He mentioned some Vaishu/Vaishnu a couple of days ago. He’s applied to NTU/NUS as well this year.

ohhh rite…!

I scored only 84.3% in 10th CBSE due to my poor language score…will it affect my chances in anyway?I’m more interested in NTU.(considering I’ll have a good SAT score and good 12th CBSE scores)

I got B’s in my a levels(all the subjects) but have very good SAT scores. what are my chances

Hey guys!
I’m really not sure what their selection criteria is going to be this year! Just hope for the best!

Hi, I’m singaporean and I’m applying to NUS/NTU as well this yr.

I can tell you its going to be very tough because average grades have gone up across the board.

4As are relatively common, and of course, NUS/NTU would much rather admit Singaporeans than admit international students.

i know Rajul Gupta
He stayed in my hostel last year.
But after Alevel I havent heard from him since…

Oh! He’s in my neighbourhood in Lucknow at the moment
He’s just having a good time and doing some computer animation course or somethink like that. hbrad? You from Singapore?

Im a foreign student, studying in singapore, like Rajul
He was the president of a so-called video media club in school which I joined also.
he told me last time he would try applying to US uni, but his friends told me he changed his aims to Aus and Sing instead…

Pretty right… I doubt the Aus part though. He’s mostly into Sing. And he’s made me think seriously about NUS/NTU as well :D

Hey…I have applied for Mech Engg at NUS…I am from India and got 90% for my CBSE 10th and 12th exams…Do i have any chance??By what time will be the outcome known??

I got NUS, and I accepted the offer on a whim but most probably enrolling in USA. Taking chemical engineering.

To midhunj, the results is already out. I got my offer letter in April. But it depends on the institution I believe.
