Yes, I'm going to subject you all to another one of these. I predict that it will be fairly short.

Freshman, Fall Semester. Bioengineering Major; haven't decided on which of the 'submajors' I'll be doing, or if I'm going to do the joint with Materials.

Math 53 or 53 Honors (already took Multivariable in HS; see below)
Chem 4A
E10 or BioE10 (have not yet decided)
Some variety of R&C from "List A"
Bioengineering 24 Seminar

Totals to the recommended 16 Credit Hours.

I don't anticipate somehow testing out of Multivariable, since the HS class was more of an engaging overview (with plenty of tangents) than an exhaustive look at the material.

I do have a few questions, though:
1) Would there be any problem with taking either of the Engineering courses later on, say, in the fall?
2) I could find Scandinavian R5A in the course catalog. Has it been discontinued, or am I just searching badly?
3) I'm interested in branching out and taking elective/humanities/etc. stuff beyond what the curriculum really asks for. Is this a really bad idea for my first college semester?
