@JP1993 @Seattlefc no I gave up on calling because I feel like they would just give me a random answer that wouldn’t actually be of any help or just say i just have to be patient, which is wearing thin, I might add… this is so frustrating!

I noticed from 2015 people heard by the 6th and after that their thread was dead… like c’mon UW… I dont even care if I cant even get good classes I just wanna be accepted LOL

@jadey138 I was also denied by foster (they didn’t accept my AP credit as English comp). I met with an advisor last week and he said that because I was denied by my major my application would get processed last and then alphabetically. Can I ask what time your transcript loaded and what letter your last name starts with? Exciting news for you!! Congrats!

@seattlefc you can check if you got in by checking your myUW account and click unofficial transcript. If it loads your in.
I wonder did anyone get an email from UW to take the course UW101. Is this course required?
@BluMickey I got that email as well! There also should’ve been an email sent after that with fyp information. There’s a part in the email that says “Finally, you now have access to University 101. You are required to complete U101 24 hours prior to your A&O session.”

Omg, now an adviser said it was alphabetical?? I think what perplexed me the most about the transfer admission process at UW is how admissions officers and advisers are constantly contradicting each other. I’ve never heard that it was alphabetical! First that it was ‘by major’ then that it was ‘random’ with regards to the order in which people hear back.
Anyway, I came here bc I got the U101 email too! This looks like busy work to me, but I guess we have to do it. @BluMickey
@jadey138 You have to submit an “I accept” form and submit your measles immunization information to Hall Health before you can register for classes. You register for classes at orientation. Hope this helps.

My transcript loaded this afternoon! I was previously denied by Foster’s due to having AP credit as my English Comp. After this quarter I will have completed my Associates in Business from a WA community college with 3.95 GPA. and my last name starts with a V. Hope this information helps the rest of you waiting and those hoping to transfer next year!
@jadey138 I scored a 4.5 on my WSA. My advisor said that my scores was high enough that I wouldn’t need to take the test again since it lasts for 2 years. In order to prepare, I did the online workshop that Foster’s provides and then did a few other timed essays that I found online. Good luck!

I really wonder what class can I take now when I was denied by Foster and it is so late that I think some classes are full.
I still have yet to hear anything!!! I check my mailbox and MyUW religiously :(( If it’s really alphabetical then I’ll probably be finding out after Christmas… my last name starts with an X, LOL this is ridiculous I’m with @JP1993, I don’t care about being able to find classes, I just want to be accepted at this point…haha and I am with @snailshellz - the admissions officers need to agree on ONE thing to tell prospective students!
Oh wow. My transcript actually just loaded. I really don’t think they are doing it alphabetically. (last name C) 45 credits by end of this quarter but currently saying 0 transfer credits.

@mino123 Both my transfer and high school gpa is ~3.4. I just graduated from high school this year so I’m pretty sure my high school gpa played a bigger part. However they are both with an upward trend with 4.0’s in the most recent term.
My transcript loaded as well but this whole process has sucked so I’m not even going to get excited hah. I doubt classes I want are even available still! Might just re apply for fall honestly, but we’ll see
