My parents have been in Santa Barbara this week and they told me classes have been interrupted due to protests about the rising costs at all the UCs. Is this true?

I still wish I would have gone there, but I know it was best to not.

I had my Chem Lab canceled but really I felt no effects of any protest. I know they were going to picket in front of the library but really it was any other day.

A good handful of teachers protested by not going to class the first day of class (thursday). Everything was back to normal by friday though. It didn’t effect me seeing as how I dont have class on thursdays. I do however feel sorry for anyone who was trying to crash a class on Thursday and couldn’t because there was no professor.

ah maybe thats why their was no prof at my section…

Other then that though I noticed nothing

Protests occurred on campus, but nobody seemed to pay any attention. Maybe just other staff members or fellow professors. My day continued as normal… no classes cancelled. Nobody I know was affected by the protests either.
