Most of the questions on the supplement ask for an explanation or imply that there should be one. This question, however, just asks for a title for the course. There are 250 characters allotted so am I supposed to explain a little about why I could teach said class?

Here is the full question if you need it:

This year our Wake Forest Student Union invited expert students to become teachers of non-credit classes in the Wake Forest Experimental college. Provide us with the title of a course that you could teach your peers.

We had a similar supplement question last year, but we were also asked to provide a tutor (alive or dead), course texts, etc. I’m not sure how you would approach it with just 250 words and a “title.” Maybe make a really long title that also explains a little about the actual class?

My title was long (like 20 words?) and humorous. I think that’s what they’re looking for; something a bit irreverent and creative. Don’t do “Algebra 101” or “How to Knit a Sweater” or something like that. Haha. Good luck!

Well, the classes that they actually used were courses like “Social Aspects in Lady Gaga” or “Child Slavery in the world today” or “science in Harry Potter”.

So choose something that interests you, whether its about food or South Park or soccer

I would write the title and then a short quip about what the course is about, perhaps (sort of like a real course description is written).

Example: Pinkcupcake14 101
A course about how important it is to talk about your school on College Confidential and to help future Demon Deacons learn about the university. Taught by a talking pastry.
