Providence College is definitely my number 1. I applied Early Action and am SO nervous to hear back. There is no other school I can truly see myself attending. I am really concerned that my grades are too low.. however, I have a letter of recommendation, strong extra curriculers, and have shown interest. My stats are:

GPA: 3.8 on a 5.0 scale. I have taken 9 Honors classes and 2 APs.
I didn't submit my scores because they were not going to help me get in. (1150 on 1600 scale)
Extra curriculars include:
participating in my Parish Youth Group (4 years)- helps with community service throughout the community.. minimum of twice a month (Breakfast Run, soup kitchens)
Peer Mediation and Peer Leadership at my school
Volunteer Basketball Coach for my parish
Cross Country Varsity Captain
National Art Honor Society
Athlete of the Week

these are not all of them but I just wanted to give you a gist of what I've done.
I also have a great letter of recommendation written on my behalf by an active alumni.
I have made it known that PC is my first choice through the optional statement.

Do you think I have a chance of getting in Early Action? Please be honest! Thanks!
