Can anybody help with these questions?
When will we be notified for ED? I’ve heard December 15?
What are my chances of getting in with a 3.34 unweighted GPA and 29 ACT?
Where should I dorm freshman yr.?
Thank you

I’ve heard December 15th, as well. I know a student back in December 2015 was notified on December 18th, which was the third Friday in December, so if they notify on the third Friday in December then that would be December 15th this year.
They really look at the rigor of your course work and then recalculate your GPA, so if you took the most challenging classes then I would say you have a very good chance of being accepted, especially since you went ED. They want students who show strong interest in attending, and I’ve heard the acceptance rate for ED is around 85%, which is much higher than the 51% for regular and EA admission.
As for dorm freshman year, unfortunately I wouldn’t know.
Good luck!!!
I have taken three AP Courses and five honors courses. I also have fourteen extracurriculars, am vice president of the student body, and a boys basketball captain. Do you think that will help?
I do. I also feel that if you went ED and showed a lot of interest you should have a very good chance of being accepted. But say you don’t get accepted ED then most likely you get deferred and that shouldn’t be a disappointment. Just stay interested and follow up with the your admission counselor. Write a letter stating your continued desire to attend. Be positive but make sure you manage your expectations. I know this is a very anxious time. I’m going through it as well.
This was posted on PC’s facebook page yesterday afternoon:
“…As of this afternoon, every admission and scholarship decision has been made and we are in the process of printing and proofing 6700+ letters to notify students of their decision…aiming to release decisions via USPS on this Friday. #PC2022”
Thanks for the update! Good luck!
My daughter received her acceptance today ED. Beyond thrilled!
Accepted!
Congrats to those who got good news. S18 got in, his letter came yesterday. ACT 34, weighted GPA 4.21, rising trend on grades for Q1. Good AP scores last year. No merit $ so have to wait until mid Jan on FA. Need something to make the math work. Waiting on Saint Joseph’s and Nova this week too.
