I was not accepted at Boston College (my first choice) so I'm now choosing between Providence College and Holy Cross. Any feedback is appreciated. Also where would be a better place to go if I want to try to transfer into Boston College? Thanks.

If you want to transfer to BC then I'd say goto HC because it is really tough to transfer the DWC credits you have from your freshmen year at PC. Now, I can't give you an objective view but I think PC as good as as HC if not better. Thats my 2 C. :D

Honestly, I think PC is an amazing place and that if you go you won't even wanna transfer anymore! I just sent my deposit for next year...and now I'm filling out the form where I get to reject BC lol

Any objective person will tell you that Holy Cross is hands down the better school, academically speaking that is.

Princeton Review Academic Rating:

Holy Cross 95
Stonehill 90
Providence 80

Princeton review ratings don’t mean everything. Providence has many opportunities that Holy Cross doesn’t. The small size of the school gives students an opportunity to be observed more carefully. Their business and theatre programs are really something special.

Providence at 4371 students is actually larger than Holy Cross at 2899 students

Providence College admissions acceptance 67.2 %
Holy Cross admissions acceptance 35.5%

Per US News & World Reports

Holy Cross won the Moss Hart Award for best theatre play in all of New England in 2007 and 2008.
