Providence College vs UVM Social Life

Iv'e narrowed my college deciaion down to UVM and PC as i was accepted to both. I like both of their campus' a lot, despite being two pretty different places. Both offer my major and cost the same,so...

Which has a better social atmosphere? Party-scene? Dorm life? which is a more fun place to be?

Also,
Is UVM as "earthy-crunchy" as it seemed when i visited? While its not somthing i am against or anything, i want to know if there are still "normal" (for lack of better word) people there, just because i dont really fit in with that crowd so much

Any input would be great! as i need to make my decision within the week

Thanks!

I don’t know much about Providence, but at my HS, UVM is known as a huge party school, with an emphasis on weed. However, if you’re ok with that, the kids who go there love it. It’s a very nice campus, the social scene is active, and Burlington’s a nice city for college students.

I know kids who go there who are definitely not “earthy-crunchy”, although I don’t know how prevalent these kids are. Hopefully someone else can shed more light on this?
