My son has a choice between providence and Fordham. Can anyone weigh in on these schools pls

They’re both well-respected Jesuit schools. what is your son’s goal/major??
What are the net costs of each? Will much debt be needed?
Is he a transfer student? Why is he deciding now?
Providence is Dominican not Jesuit. PC is the only school in the US run by Dominican Friars.

I’d say they are pretty even. Fordham would probably have an edge if you want to work in NYC as it has a big alumni base. Visit and see which environment you prefer.
In terms of academics, Fordham has an edge. But the key question is cost: which is cheapest? Considering the quality, I’d pick the cheapest among the two, unless your son wants to work in Manhattan or in Finance.
