Provisional Contract GPA weighted or unweighted?

I see a lot of posts on the individual UC discussions about whether the
requirement in the Provisional Admissions Contracts is for a weighted or unweighted 3.0 GPA in the UC A-G courses in the senior year.

Here is what the UC Irvine one says:
“Your senior-year GPA in UC-approved courses must be at least 3.00.”

Does anybody know the answer or does it depend on the UC?
This question must come up all the time, so not sure why they just don’t say weighted or unweighted in the contracts.

My understanding is this requirement of maintaining a 3.0 in the UC A-G courses applies to all the UCs. The 3.0 is on an unweighted basis.
My sense is that you more than qualify, so just breathe!

uc irvine is weighted.
uc davis does not have this rule.
ucsb is weighted.

UC Davis says no grades of D or F. There will be a contract on your admissions page read it carefully!

ucsd is weighted

Wow UC Davis became more strict since they didn't have that when I got my provisional admission.

It was just Berkeley, LA, SD, and Irvine that had provisional senior year requirements.
