Provisions of Admission: Rescind

<p>So the "packet" for UCI came in today, and there was a glossy paper showing what the provisions for admission to UCI was.</p>

<p>"Provisions for Admission to UC Irvine
1. You must:
Receive a high school diploma or equivalency.
Complete all senior-year courses as listed on your application.
Maintain at least a weighted 3.0 senior-year GPA in UC-approved courses.
The following situations may result in cancellation of your admission offer:
a) multiple D or F grades in your senior year A-G courses
b) taking less rigorous courses than reported on your application
c) not maintaining UC Eligibility "</p>

<p>...so
does that mean, if a student gets 1 D in a senior year a-g course, they are not rescinded?</p>

<p>You are correct. At least that’s what I think.</p>

<p>you should be okay because I had a D for one of my classes(a college preparatory
elective which already exceeded my (g) requirement of the A-G requirements) and they didn’t rescind me, so don’t worry too much(although I was really worried back then). just make sure you do well in your other classes and don’t let senioritis get the best of you =)</p>

<p>I hope multiple is certainly the case. Math has been my forte all throughout high school, but Calculus BC is giving me a hell of a time right now.</p>
