Provost/Presidential Scholarship

Does anyone know whether a GA Tech Financial Aid Application needs to be submitted to be considered for the Provost/Presidential Scholarships? I ask because they’re merit based awards, not financial need! Any and all help appreciated!

No financial aid application has to be submitted for those two scholarships. Provost is usually awarded two weeks after acceptances go out. Our GT local alumni club is doing Presidential interviews and the email stated that students would be notified in January and that interviews would be conducted either the first or second week of February.

@itsv Is that interview information current for this year? Here’s what the GT PSP site says:

February 20, 2016 Semifinalist Interviews All applicants who advance to the semifinalist stage must participate in an interview by video or in person. In keeping with best practices of the nation’s most prestigious scholarship programs, we regret that no interviews will be scheduled on alternate dates. Students living outside the U.S. will be scheduled separately.

Sweet, thanks @itsv!!

@collegec123 I had only looked at the email soliciting people to volunteer to do interviews quickly so I wasn’t really focusing on the exact date, but you are right. Our area is interviewing the semifinalists on February 20.

@itsv Thanks for the confirmation! They changed a few details from what was posted a few months back, and I was curious if that date was still firm.
