Provost's Scholars Program, Honors, or neither?

I hope I can get many opinions on what I should do! So here's the situation.

I got accepted into USF and with it came the Scholars Scholarship (the 2k a year scholarship). I also got invited to apply for the Provost program. Well, I just had my interview and GOT IN. But I don't know if I should accept.

I've been dual-enrolled since junior year of high school and will graduate high school with about 46 credits, almost 2 years of college done. I know what major I want (MassCom with a concentration in PR), the area I want to go in for my career, and what the layout of my career path should look like. I've actually already talked to a senior publicist about my interning next summer in Michigan for them so woo! The Program boasts about students graduating in 3 years, but I already would be doing that. Really, I'd be graduating in less I think. But if I go in the Program, they're making me do a full 3 years. In those, I have to go to mandatory functions, occasional lunches/dinners with the Director, minimum of 6 credits per summer, and they're giving me 2k to study abroad during the summer. I don't really like the feeling of being dictated, but I also don't want to do summer classes. And what about interning? They said they would work with me, but they're pushing a global thing, so interning would have to be abroad. And they're not giving me any scholarships to join, but living in the Juniper (the most expensive) dorm is REQUIRED for your first year. The positives are having the status of being one, having way more help than the average college student, a chance to go abroad, and primary class registration. My mom says that since I'm already at USF, why not join?

The lady also encouraged me to retake my ACTs so that I can go from a 28 to a 29 (which I'm doing so I can get 100% Bright Futures...who knows if I will be able to though). By doing that, she can get me in the Honors program. So it sounds like I'd be in both? I don't know. I don't really know what the benefits would include for that. Any scholarships?

Or I could do neither and just attend USF and try to do my own thing. They say I'd save money because I'd eliminate 1 year of schooling (or save it for master's), but I'd already be doing that and I'm not doing a graduate program (well, I don't think. Suggestions for a MassCom major going into the entertainment or book industry?). So I don't want to spend more money than necessary by taking unnecessary classes and living in a really expensive dorm.

Sorry for the rambling and info dump. I'm just confused so help would be GREATLY appreciated. If you actually need more info, I'd be glad to offer some!

Honors = more scholarships, better community, way better dorms with not much extra work

If I were you I’d do both, at least Honors though. Definitely recommend.
