However, now I'm having trouble logging on. I know the username is my UCSD email (without @ucsd.edu), but what is the network password? My tritonlink password doesn't work. Is it the same as the PAC (I've forgotten my PAC so I have to go call the Registrar for it if the password turns out to be the PAC... SIGH)?

Anyone else with experience using DAR/proxy servers/off-campus thingymabobs? :P

hmm well i tell you this from my experience [i used firefox] and i successfully got it to work.
before that, what’s a PAC?

anyway, try using your ucsd email login PW to see if that works. i used mine and it worked :), but then again my UCSD related passwords are all the same soooo

@spatel23 Thanks for your response! I’ve tried all of my browsers (I have a lot, heh! IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox), and none work. I’ve tried all of my UCSD passwords (tritonlink and email)–neither work.

If you know of any other options or things that can help me, spatel23, it’d be great if you can post them and let me know! I’m getting really desperate. :P

The login password should be the same as your acms webmail login. Maybe resetting this will resolve any issues you are having

Also, I would suggest clearing out any cookies/temp files on your browsers, sometimes if the wrong information is put into the proxy login you can be shut out of logging in–its happened to me sometimes if I click ‘cancel’ or close the window when I am prompted to input the information and then im blocked out of ucsd webpages
