Hey I recieved something in the mail from Princeton Review (I first thought it was my AP results until I saw “Princeton Review” on it) about SAT prep in my local area.

They have something called “SAT Honors” that guarantees a 2100 on the SAT or 60 more lessons to achieve it.

And it also has minimum requirements!

Pass sophomore year.

Finish Algebra II.

Score at least an 1850 on PR’s Tests or the real SAT.

If #3 cannot be achieved, but #1 and #2 are, then you may take the class if you are motivated and hard working.

Should I do this? Has anyone done it?

I’m planning to do self-study first, using the Xiggi method, but I’m wondering what class to take after my first SAT if I bomb it.

arcadia! i am in walnut, elite just started this week. there is one in arcadia too http://www.eliteprep.com/arcadia.html
check out other local prep places and survey them, ask people who have been there, usually your upperclassman, check out the place and then make your decision, although classes for summer have started already.. maybe they can squeeze you in if you try, or just wait for fall classes to start.

any of these types of prep places in NY/CT/NJ area?

The best way to find out is to ask people who are juniors. Basically anyone that is about or has taken the SATs.

Yes I know that Elite, SMA, and all the local SAT prep places have started, but none of their classes fit into my schedule.

Therefore, I am considering a class during the year, and I don't want to take the SAT my senior year. No local place has their year schedule planned out yet.
