how was it playful? they sounded pretty harsh so i put defiant

^^What section was that? I’m trying to remember it more specifically…

i just thought it was funny

Both were making jokes and poking fun, so it was playful.

yep I definately put sympathetic understanding

and yeah, the commas made me think comma splice but all the other choices mis used semicolons! I picked the:

blah blah blha, and including, for example, blha blah blah

For the sympathetic understanding, I remember putting mild disappointment and scrambling to change it at the end to sympathetic understanding.

Will the curve for the 10/17 test be better than the practice test? and in which sections?

which article was this about?

i put mild disappointment

paragraph answers? i thought it was a lot harder than usual…and usually paragraph questions are the easiest :P

a description would be sufficient (really long answer, really short answer, began with yada yada…)

i rly hope so ;p

but the curves in the practice were already ridiculously high

fresh-man, its only III because x must be < -1/2

can someone explain why its playful and not defiant

and why its sympathetic understanding and not mild disapproval

What were the last 2 math ones on section 4 before the open ended? There was the wheel, and then #28? I forget what 28 was, and I skipped it.

Does anyone know the answer to the 4 to 200 inclusive math problem? I don’t recall how to solve it and I guessed A.

45fly129,
i got chinese gardens… including, for example, small miniture peaks and mountains

i got the first answer choice something like 10098

What did you guys get for the writing question about the workers going on strike

@light: i put playful because it was kinda funny and then passage 2 wasnt really defiant…he was kinda just poking fun at ppl like him

and then i put sympathetic understanding b/c passage 2 mentioned that only other ppl like him would be sympathetic to ppl like him

@opie: i put 30 degrees for wheel…was 28 about f(x) and g(x)? i think i put 3 for that

light airen, it was sympathetic because “the group” in passage one refered to the group that was all hyped about grammar and liked books talking about grammar and so this group will be sympathetically understanding of the people who cringe at seeing “items less than 10”

also, I said it was playful because both passages cotained humorous terms

Yunsang, the answer was A because all you had to do was subtract 2 and 202 from the sum that they gave you…i believe the answer was 10098

the wheel was 30 because 1/3 of 360 (degrees in a circle) is 120 and since there were 4 B’s, each B has a central angle of 30

yeah i got 10098 too for 4 to 200
