PSAT '09 Form S Official Thread

Ok, cool. I wish I remembered the other one. I know I said it could only be one number, and the number I came up with was 3/4.

for the I, II, and III one did you just get III?

Which one was that? I believe I picked one that was just III, can’t really remember the question though.

Was SATIRICAL the answer to a SC?

I got satirical.

yES! i got satirical and ridicule. it was about the play

the math was the one with like
I. -1/8<x<-1/4
II.
II.
just made those up… but it looked like that

i think second…

i got III…yeah that one was a little tricky

I got 1 Writing Wrong, 1 Math Wrong, and 2 CR Wrong.

Can I still get a 230? What would i get if i get 2 more CR wrong, or in total
4 CR wrong, 1 Writing Wrong, and 1 math wrong?

It was three only. Coice three was -7/8<x<-5/8.

and x < -1/2 so III only was correct. I got satirical as well.

I did have just III. The number had to be <0. I equalled 2, II equalled no solution, and III was -.5 or -2. Something like that.

ok good… i know i got that one right
was the paralleglgram perimeter 6?

I doubt you will be able to get a 230 with 1 Math wrong, one writing wrong, and two cr wrong. I think you will get above 225 though.

For the writing that began “Incidence of error in the census…” the answer was WERE being wrong, right? I had it between WERE and NE.

will i be able to crack out a 220 with
4 skipped math
-2 CR (all others right)
and like perfect writing?

So, it sounds like Form W was harder?

The vocabulary must have been pretty manageable if the hardest words were
“factitious” and “oracular.”

“Incidence of error in the census WAS”

Incidence is singular

i had were being wrong…
how about the climate?
The climate of Japan is similar to that of NE United States.
is that right^

I had to omit two of the vocab. I should have guessed though. I would have gotten one of them right. But the vocab for Section I was pretty hard imo, but then again that is my weak point.

Damn, there goes my 80… I forgot about 64 for some reason.

So 1 math wrong, no writing/crit wrong in sophomore year and no studying.

Quite satisfied.
