PSAT '09 Form S Official Thread

Yes, but they would have both agreed with trustworthy information.

10d for the peaches.

Ugh…How can I have missed the casual attitude one… (I feel like an idiot.)

what is this triangle question?
and the circle question- diameter of the 144(pie) one… i got 24

for the writing, did anyone remember one of their last choices (pick best way to rephrase the sentence), an an answer with “,however,” in it?

WAs the S version hard? Or was it just like the PSAT from last year and the ones b4?

yeah. 24 for the circumference question. (Really hoping I didn’t accidentally write down 12.)

I got 2.5$ and I also got 290 people who didn’t answer to something

I put information and casual attitude for the sherry…

for the one about grammar police and etc., what was the tone of the two passages? I put playful because I thought it was kinda funny…but that’s kind of an opinion question, no?

I got 17 for the Venn Diagram. There were 5 democrats. It said so in the question. So I just did 22-5=17.

i had the although answer for the last one ^^ fairly sure i was right…

and i said playful for the grammar police one too. i think that’s right as well

I put playful for that question as well.

Ok, 1 math wrong most likely nothing else…
on the practice test this would be a 75 =((
harshh is it going to be like that for the real one too?

No, it was 14. 22-5(dems)-3(dems and in favor of plan)=14

I put playful because theres no way the second passage was serious

I rly thought the psat writing was way harder than last year’s…mainly b/c of the paragraph
and then the wikipedia article was a little difficult
i think the vocab was a lot easier this year tho

Yeah, math is always harsh. It sucks. It will probably be like a 75. Maybe it’ll be like a 76 or 77, if you are lucky.

any predictions on my math score? i think i got all the ones i answered right, but skipped about 4 (obviously all MC)

Opie, there were 5 deocrats but there were 3 who were both democrat AND agree to the preposition, so it was 22-5-3 = 14

Wouldn’t scholarly collaboration make more sense, since both agreed that books were trustworthy, but the author of passage 1 was more traditionalist and was critical of wikipedia

Also, I thought I had 210, not 290

i missed 2 maths last year and got a 74 so i rly dont think -1 will be a 75

you had to subtract the 210 from the 500 to get the number of people that wouldn’t quite their jobs, so it was 500-210=290
