Ok, that makes me feel much better. Which ones did you get for “no error”

i got the bach one and the tree budding one and those were all.

Ok, that makes me feel much better. Which ones did you get for “no error”

i got the bach one and the tree budding one and those were all.

I think I had 3-4 no error answers :(

I don’t remember which ones they were…

I put no error for the scienctists…;it___ but apparently it was wrong

Which one was the scientists?

Did anyone get exactly 2 no errors?

Can we use this thread for the Saturday PSAT too or do you think we should start a new one? Hopefully everyone did fine! Apparently we get the results in the middle of December according to someone else so we can post our scores then.(If this thread is even continued for that long.)

O well, I’m posting here regardless:)

it was like

Scientists discovered something about genes; it will change the way ___

Oh ya I remember that one. “It” was the error b-cause it is a vague, fairly un-modified pronoun

How is “To Build” incorrect? The purpose of sentence error identification is to find an error, not to find a better option. Of course, “building” would work better but “To Build” definitely works. I’ve gotten multiple confirmations that E is the correct answer to that question from many peers who’ve scored amazingly in the past years.

@ silverturtle
What was your answer for the Washington DC “suggested to build/building” “at/in the center” problem?
Also, how about the grid-in math one, where people seem to be between 108 and 110?

Best estimate for me is -2 CR, -1 M (dumb mistake), -0 W. Worst is probably -4 CR, -3M, -2W, though I think that’s unlikely.

It depends on the exact context of the sentence. I remember it had something to do with tense and agreement. Do you remember the sentence exactly?

I put “to build” and my writing score is usually really high.

I’ve scored pretty well in the past (800 Writing June SAT 80 mc) and I think it’s “to build” - I just thought it sounded quite awkward

I got an 80 writing on the PSAT as a sophomore. I thought it sounded awkward too, but from my experience, awkward sounding phrases are correct half of the time.

Ya, i think you are right mabs. But, I can’t remember the sentence exactly.

Yes, there are definitely alot of awkward sounding sentences with “no error.”

How many no errors did you each get?

I got 2. I’ve heard that always 20% are no error sentences.

sry, that sentence sounded like one that should be on the psat to correct. lol

I got 4 no errors

the 1000 and the 7 digit question’s answer was 819

does anyone remember getting 2 no errors in a row?

My friend, who got a 236 as a sophomore, got 4 no errors. I had the same amount.

And Jacob, the answer to that question is 728. I am positive. I’m sorry but I think you’re just trying to justify your answer because you want to be right.
