<p>I put 10 because I read the question wrongā¦ but yes it was 11. The sides of the right trangle were 6, 8, and 10. The perimeter was thus 24. You needed to find the longest side of an isosceles with the same perimeter, where all three sides are integers. </p>
<p>An isosceles has 2 sides so 2x + y = 24.
x + (y/2) = 12.
Since they have to be integers the simplest y can be is 2/2 = 1, -1 from both sides, x = 11.</p>
