Due to my psat scores i was offered the chance to send my scores to two colleges and am wondering if it would be advantageous to do so. The only thing stopping me is that my SAT scores are mid 23s while by psats are low 21s.

Thanks

I’d say go for it! The main purpose of this is to make colleges take a closer look at you.

You lose nothing by submitting your scores. My d did this and heard nothing. Same for her friend who sent scores to a different pair of colleges.

I did this last year and heard back from both colleges. It did take a while for the colleges to respond with a “thank you for your interest” letter, however.

I know that Rice used to waive the $70+ application fee if you sent them your score, though I’m not sure if they still do. There had been discussions on this topic in the National Merit Scholarship forum of collegeconfidential that you may find useful.
