PSAT Countdown!!! December 15...

It may be updated, but I still don’t see a way to navigate my way to “My College Matches” without the quickstart access number on the PSAT score sheet.

I don’t remember when I got mine last year. I know it was before break… But that doesn’t really narrow it down. I want to say it was the first week of December. But maybe that’s wishful thinking. I know I didn’t make NM… but I still hope I did well :(…

Oh well! It’s almost time hopefully

As far as the psatextra page.. I can’t get anywhere other than enter my email. I got the same message as dtran. I was hoping to check it out and see if it really was the new scores. I need something to grasp on to. I need to get my mind off of school!

I asked my counselor when scores were coming out and she said probably December 10th for us.
I can’t wait!

I may have a way for y’all if you have a login from last year (i.e. Sophomore takers that are now Juniors waiting on their scores).

I don’t know when this will start working, but enter in the link:
https://quickstart.collegeboard.com/posweb/viewPsatScoreReportAction.do?testYear=2006

That should make sure you took the test last year with the same login/username.

then, just change the “2006” in the address bar to “2007”

For now, it says that the page is unavailable.

This may start working when they send the e-mails out, in which case this little trick will have not really worked at all.

However, if they upload the scores some at a time and then send a mass e-mail out after they are done, you may want to check and try this starting probably late next week.

Hope it works!

So this link should work without the access code from the score report?

This is crazy! We got our scores yesterday! Usually its early December when we recieve them but this year it seems the scores came especially early!

99% :)

I tried logging in to that site also but that “2007 Test Takers! Congratulations, you’re one of the first students to seek access to My College QuickStart this year. It will be available the week of December 10th” message came up.

I probably am crazy but humor me…I’m anxiously waiting for my scores…

Did anyone who has their 2007 scores access “My College Quickstart” on collegeboard.com last year to look at PSAT score info and review the questions? If so, I think I may have found a way to predict this year’s 2007 PSAT Critical Reading and Math scores, but cannot be sure if it is correct unless I ask some other people too.

This must sound very vague so I’ll try to explain…
I went to My College Quickstart and clicked on My College Matches. On the left side of the page that comes up there is an Admissions section. It gives a range for projected SAT scores. My critical reading range is 650-760 and my math range is 610-710. Very coincidentally, the range my 2006 PSAT score report gave me last year is critical reading 65-73 and math 61-69 and my actual score in each section was the average of the range. (As you can see both ranges have the same lowest point, but go higher than the 2006 psat score report range.) What I am thinking is if you subtract 40 (to get the average of an 80 point range)from the highest number on each range under the Admissions section, this might equal the 2007 psat score. (For me critical reading 760-40= 720=72 psat and so forth) Does this work for you? I understand if this totally confuses you, but if you get it let me know. Thanks!

Nevermind ignore my post I figured out the answer for myself. Those ranges are still for 2006…

Up until today, you would get the “2007 Test Takers! Congratulations, you’re one of the first students to seek access to My College QuickStart this year. It will be available the week of December 10th” from collegeboard. Now you should get back your 2006 score, use dtran09’s trick and you should get your 2007 score.

I just got mine. My total score was 235. I was pretty please but surprised at the curve.

Math 80
CR 79 (1 wrong)
Writing 76 (1 wrong - some curve!)

BTW: There’s a whole thread about the 2007 SAT.

The trick method works.

Yep, it works.

No more waiting folks. 2007 PSAT scores are out. Go to College Quickstart: Click on 2007 PSAT and go! My son is very happy for his 223. He got 200 last year.Hope to be a semi-finalist. His scores: CR 75(-2),M 73(-2) and W 75(-1).
