Dude, don’t post my name. I’m somewhat srs.

Wed 2008 Curve
This is what I have so far. Note: These are in points not questions.

M

-1 77
-2 74
-4 69

CR

-2 77
-5 72

W

-4 70
-6 65

^^^I must be misunderstanding you because it seems like your saying if I miss 20 questions (.25 X 20) then I will have a 72 (-5)?

Oh. I meant the missed questions are included in the count. For instance, if you get 3x for math and no omits then you get a 69.

3 x 0.25 = 0.75
0.75 + 3 = 3.75
3.75 –> 4

That was what I meant. Sorry, for any bad wording.

I think I got 67 W (-5 off, -4 missed and .25*4 for wrong answers), 77 M(-1), 71 CR (hopefully, only -5, im praying-ive never got that on a practice test)-not official, just looking at curves and predicting what i got

Math really killed me, i usually get 80s easily, stupid careless mistake, hopefully i didnt miss another math question…

Darn, I was getting really hopeful for a minute. Thanks for clarifying.

For you guys that have gotten your scores and score reports back…

What was the correct answer to the “Mr. Bret’s departure…none other” question in Writing?

I think I need that question right to make NMSF…

Has anybody from Texas recieved their psat scores. More specificly from el paso texas???

^bob, I messaged this one guy who got his scores, and he told me that the answer was “like no other will” or something like that. Basically, the answer was NOT “like none other”

i screwed up my psats real bad…1850

i got the score reports a few days ago

just ask if you need any answers or w/e

^ What was the answer to the question in the CR section that is like “how would the writer of passage respond to passage 2.” It was about Mars.

The curve for the Saturday test seems much harsher! I would have broken 200 with that curve…

^^That was question 37 in Section 3, and the answer was c - surprise, given prevailing beliefs about how the surface of Mars has been shaped.

Thanks for the clarification! What’s the correct answer to one of the paragraph correction questions- sentence 5 or 10?

it was sentence 5.

aww dang it was c - surprise, given prevailing beliefs about how the surface of Mars has been shaped. for that… i missed it
Wait, does anyone know what the exact question for the how would passage 1 respond to passage 2?
Like repond to what? (I think im confusing questions)

Hey does anyone know what the answer to the 5th CR question in section 3 was (it was a vocab question, the last one)

Also for the information passage, what was the answer that had an answer choice B of like “There are fewer books to read today than before…” or something like that

And was it complete agreement for the comedian one?

^ I could be completely wrong, but are you talking about “demagogue”?

wait it was a double blank question. I think demagogue was in the first CR section.

To make a quick digression, on the Wednesday test was the answer to the math grid in regarding a box 112? I think it was question 37?
