^ Congrats!! Great score!

That’s not that great of a score.

LOL, JUST KIDDING!

Congrats. That’s a high score no matter what state you’re in. =)

I’m in stupid California, and I think you only need 217+. Tee hee.

subscribing.

(i have to do it this way cuz the link at the top never works for me)

i just checked with the school and they are not giving out the scores until after the first of the year.

dorks!

I don’t understand your post. We are new to this and just recd our scores. What is minimum to be commended average? thanks-

The scores have made their way to South Dakota. The school will be distributing them tomorrow. The school counselor indicated S1 was above SD cutoff of 205 for last year - so that is good news. He wouldn’t give me the actual score because he wanted S1 to surprise us :-). He took the Wed test so I will post the number wrong and score tomorrow for those of you who are still curious.

My school in Ohio has received scores… and won’t be giving them to anyone until next Monday. It’s driving me nuts. My friend and I have been going to the counselor every day and now that they finally have the scores, the counselor isn’t giving them to us. Grrrr!

My counselor says that scores have already arrived (DE) but need to be “collated” and won’t be distributed until Dec 15. Sigh.

Scores arrived in WI yesterday, distributed today.

I’m pretty happy:

80 CR
74 M
80 W

234!!!

I missed a really easy question in math though - it was question #2. Yay for stupid mistakes!

I got my scores today.

240 total, 1 wrong in CR.

Happy face.

Scores arrived today (Illinois - sophomores, took test on Saturday); they were sent to the school and the school sent them home.

Is the rule of thumb of adding 0 to the score to get the projected SAT meaningful, or not?

My SAT score exceeded what was predicted by that rule of thumb, back in the day. It’s only an approximation.

WAT A 240!!! ur joking right?

cn31808, did you take the PSAT on Wed. or Sat? Because I took it on Saturday and I’m almost 100% sure I missed at least one CR question, but you missed one and still got an amazing 240! I want to know if I can still get a good CR score.

Thanks…

^ Wed PSAT had a -1 CR = 80 curve. Not sure about Saturday.

Thank you, Keilexandra. I heard the Saturday test’s curve was harder than Wednesday’s. No fair!

How come nobody on here is talking about the Saturday test?

Hey freakchild12, I took the test on Wed. So yeah, basically what Keilexandra said about the curve. Apparently the Wed curve was relatively forgiving compared to last year’s. I thought this one was harder than last year’s Wed exam; apparently so did the CB. I dunno what the deal is with the Sat curve, though, sorry bout that.

Does anybody know what the national merit cutoff is for Tennessee, or when we will know it by?
