I got emails/letters from Harvard, Columbia and Upenn and no TASP. I did not take the PSAT prior to this year, if that helps anyone trying to solve the TASP puzzle. However I don’t feel I did well enough for TASP or NM in the first place on the PSAT. Who knows. Can’t think about it until tomorrow, I guess.
@studious99 I got a 206 also, but a 70 on writing, and I received a TASP mailing
@swimmergal that score was from last year. Maybe the tasp email is only sent to people in certain regions/people with certain majors because I would have thought with 80 in math, 68 in writing, and 61 in reading I would have gotten it.
@Studious99 57
Are any of you guys staying up to see if you get the scores? I remmember staying up for my SAT score but since there’s school tommorow I’m not sure if it’s worth it
@Bunnylionn If I check at midnight and the scores aren’t there, I am not going to stay up until 7:30 AM… That would be crazy
always worth it! it’s a stresstastic life my friends
What do you guys think the California cutoff will be like?
Interesting connection: Stanford, TASP, and College Board email about this year’s score release came on the same day. Doesn’t sound like a coincidence.
Haha @stresstasticlife I mean, I have to get up before 7:30 to go to school, and who knows? Maybe I’ll have too much anxiety to even sleep today.
@pillowspillows But why does it give 0.5 values on the concordance charts? And its not from old to new conversion but in the new to old psat conversions for math. Kinda confused on that
I would just hate to go to sleep at 12:00 and find out in the morning the scores came out like at 12:20 or something :))
Are we getting an email? Or do we have to go on the site? If it’s the site, where? @garyasho2 @Bunnylionn @stresstasticlife
Haha same, but still, I highly doubt it that scores would be released at 12:20 if they aren’t released at like 12:05 or something
@ZebraWithPassion I’m an ethnic minority, so that might be why I got an invitation. Still, Telluride really must’ve scraped the bottom of the barrel to send an invite to me considering my absolutely abysmal test scores.
@collgefreak High.
Anyone have any speculation about curves for the two different tests?
Is CB going to use the concordance table for choosing the NMSF or just the Selection Index?
@YoohooAddict I’m pretty sure that NMSC is going to use selection index
@swimmergal They’ll just pop up. You can check your scores here: https://studentscores.collegeboard.org/viewscore
Thanks @loquatical That would be much more lenient in my opinion.
